RÄga (Attachment / Desire/Greed)
RÄga simply means attachment or clinging.
It is delight in sense pleasures, especially the five sensual objects.
Craving (taáčhÄ), attachment, sensual desire (chandarÄga), greed (lobha), and kÄma are related terms used to describe rÄga.
Dosa (Aversion / Hatred)
Dosa arises when what we desire does not remain as we wish.
It is resistance toward anything that opposes our attachments.
We cling not only to desire (rÄga), but also to aversion (dosa).
Moha (Delusion)
Moha is the clouding of the mind caused by ignorance.
RÄga, dosa, and moha are like three sides of a die,
arising from ignorance (avijjÄ) within us.
The destruction of Greed, the destruction of hatred, and the destruction of delusion â this is what is called NibbÄna.
